AUTHORIZATION HOLDS

If you see multiple charges on your credit card statement, it indicates that your order was not successfully placed. These charges are not real charges, but rather "Authorization holds" issued by your bank or credit card issuer.

Authorization holds are a standard banking process used to verify electronic transactions. Your bank or card issuer may temporarily make a portion of your credit card balance unavailable until the transaction is finalized. If the bank rejects the charge due to insufficient funds, incorrect billing details, or a security risk, the authorization hold is automatically returned.

Please note that Akzentz Canada has no control over authorization holds and is not informed why a bank or credit card has not completed the charge. Contact your bank or credit card issuer for details on authorization holds or any other payment-related inquiries.
